I have been reading a book on my iPad wearing my new contact for reading. It's called mono vision. Only one eye needs the contact for seeing close up and the other mainly for distance. It's a little weird but after a few days to a week my eyes will adjust. I am thrilled to be able to apply my eye makeup and especially see who is calling or texting me without grabbing reading glasses. I had a bit of a problem last night while driving because the lights from other cars were fuzzy. Yesterday was the first day wearing the contact and I was told to take it out after 5 hrs but I was really busy and not at home so it was like 9 hours before I finally got home to take it out. Today has been much better and I am sure tomorrow even more so. Yeah!
My back adjustment caused me a considerable amount of pain into my right glute that thank God is gone today. My entire right side is locked up caused by the scoliosis but the chiropractor assured me that he will be able to unlock it for me. Tomorrow morning I go in for my third adjustment and Thursday an MRI done on my neck. It will all get figured out soon enough.
I do think I will live ...... Hehehehe

My big cat Bosco who was at least 17 years old got very sick just after Christmas and I had to have him put to sleep. That was so sad. He was such a majorly cool cat with a personality more like a dog.
I am getting ready to go for a chiropractic adjustment this morning. My back is locked up tight and the xrays taken a few days ago indicate that I have a compressed disc in my neck. I googled it and there seems to be hope that it can heal. It caused me major pain about a year and a half ago and during the past year its flaired up about three times so bad that it compromised my sleep at night. Everyday I feel it and I think that I have simply gotten used to it and THAT SUCKS. Gotta run! Have a nice weekend everyone!!!

Well, last Thursday night I got a phone call and it was my son's girlfriend, crying and hysterical. My heart was in my throat and the only thing I could think of was that something bad happened to my son. After a few minutes my son got on the phone to tell me that they had been in an accident. They were in the car pull lane on the 60 freeway out in Rowland Heights when a little Honda FIT just merged left into the car pull lane, not seeing my 350Z, which was obviously in its blind spot. My son tried to avoid it but there was a concrete wall along the left side so there was absolutely no where to go. The Honda hit the passenger side front quarter panel, flattened both tires on that same side and also ruined both rims. The good thing is that no one was badly hurt. Both my son and his girlfriend are visiting with a chiropractor because the are totally out of alignment and are both now experiencing pain in the hip area. We'll get them fixed up. The sucky part is that we have to wait for the accident report for the information on the other driver who is responsible and that can take up to 10 days. I don't know why in the hell the police just didn't give that information to my son so we could have speeded up the process of getting my car fixed. I can't even get a car rental right now until we have the other car's insurance information. Patience, patience, patience. It will all work out soon enough I guess.
My son just sold his Suzuki 1000 and bought a 2011 Suzuki 1000 on the very day of the accident. They would have been driving the new motorcycle but it was too late in the day for us to get the insurance coverage on the new bike so we had to wait until the next day to bring it home. THANK GOD for that because if they were hit on the motorcycle it would have been really REALLY bad. Soooooo I feel very lucky and grateful.
